About Lifelong Guidance 5.0
The Lifelong Guidance 5.0 project is about providing and improving guidance services, fit for the future of work. The project has three main goals:
What is our mission?
Educational and career guidance currently changes fundamentally. The overall goal of the project is to support the implementation of digital transformation plans in guidance institutions and to foster the creation of new hybrid processes of lifelong educational and career guidance – incorporating personal guidance and digital offers for different groups of clients. This goal shall be achieved through quality development and capacity building in guidance services.
The project partners will create a modular training concept that supports guidance counsellors in making use of the opportunities of digital guidance. A European online learning environment for counsellors offers a permanent basis for information, learning and exchange. As a specific field of interest, a concept for career guidance in companies will developed and piloted. In a Europe-wide campaign guidance counsellors will be motivated to participate in project activities.
INCREASE CAPACITY
Increase the capacity of career guidance counsellors so that they are able to use digital tools within the framework of their daily work
EMPOWER CLIENTS
Empower guidance clients to be able to use digital guidance tools, alone or with a counsellor
FOSTER FUTURE SKILLS
Foster and encourage the development of future skills of the clients, finding (educational) pathways tailored to the needs of digitalisation and other mega trends in society.
