Lifelong Guidance 5.0 Partners Meet to Plan Webinars and Upcoming Events

On 28 November 2025, the partners of the Lifelong Guidance 5.0 project came together to review progress, plan upcoming activities, and discuss ways to share their work with a wider audience.

The partners also shared plans for the upcoming webinar series. The first webinar will take place on 4 December 2025, under the theme: “Two Megatrends in Career Counselling: Mediatization and Green Guidance.” Professor Dr. Dennis Mocigemba from the University of Applied Labour Market Agency (HdBA) will lead the session. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues from across Europe. The webinar will be recorded and shared on LinkedIn and the ILIAS portal, along with supporting materials.

Looking ahead, several events are planned:

  • Conference in Östersund (Sweden) – 20–21 January 2026
    Highlights include webinars on innovation in guidance, exchanges on company-based guidance practices, presentations of company pilots from Germany, final updates on the upcoming Vienna Conference, and a visit to Lärcentrum Östersund with local guidance stakeholders.
  • Conference in Vienna – 23–24 March 2026
    Hosted by VHS Vienna, the theme will be “Lifelong Challenges: Transformations in Career Guidance and Counselling.” The conference will explore the future of guidance, including digital transformation and skill development in companies. The draft programme includes presentations from research institutes, interactive discussions with experts, and a Knowledge Café for dynamic exchanges on key trends.
  • Final Conference in Brussels – 11–12 June 2026
    This event will coincide with EARLALL’s 25th Anniversary celebrations. The project’s training results and key outcomes will be presented.

Partners will continue to work closely together through webinars, conferences, and other activities, strengthening collaboration across the Lifelong Guidance 5.0 project.

VHS Vienna presented the theme for the upcoming Conference in Vienna 23-24 March 2026; “Lifelong Challenges: Transformations in Career Guidance and Counselling.” The event will explore future approaches to guidance, including digital transformation and competence development within corporate contexts. The draft agenda includes contributions from research institutes and space for further discussion with researchers.

The final conference will take place in Brussels, during EARLALL ’s 25th Anniversary celebrations on 11–12 June 2026. Training outcomes and project results will be presented during the event.

The partners will continue to strengthen cooperation within the Lifelong Guidance 5.0 project through active engagement in upcoming webinars, conferences, and dissemination activities.
