Lifelong Guidance 5.0: Preparatory Meeting for the Dissemination Conference

On 26 September 2025, partners of the Lifelong Guidance 5.0 project met online to prepare for the forthcoming Dissemination Conference, which will be held on 23–24 March 2026 at VHS Urania in Vienna. The meeting focused on shaping the event’s structure, content, and communication strategy, ensuring that the conference will effectively present the project’s achievements and future direction.

The conference will embody the core objectives of Lifelong Guidance 5.0: to enhance counsellors’ ability to use digital tools, to support guidance participants in applying these tools effectively, and to foster future-oriented competences that help individuals navigate evolving educational and professional pathways.

Entitled “Lifelong Changes – Transformationen in der Bildungs- und Berufsberatung” (Transformations in Educational and Career Guidance), the event will examine the ongoing shifts within the field of career and educational counselling. Its main theme will explore digitalisation and guidance, with discussions focusing on key skills, ethical considerations, and emerging professional competencies. A secondary theme will highlight career and educational guidance in corporate contexts, reflecting the growing importance of guidance within workplace environments.

During the preparatory meeting, partners also reviewed the communication and dissemination plans for the event. They agreed to coordinate their efforts to maximise visibility across multiple platforms, including project websites, social media channels, and relevant professional networks.

Two further partner meetings are planned: one in Sweden, expected to take place between December 2025 and January 2026, and another in Brussels around June 2026. The next online project meeting is scheduled for November 2025.
